Rebecca Macky to Thomas Macky3rd January, 1855My Thomas Will you please post my letter. I wish you could prevail on Kitty to bring John and come and stop with us as long as she likes and let Ann take charge in town. If I had a conveyance I would soon go for her and insist on her coming. It would be very good for her and I'd do all I could for her. Use your influence, dear Thomas. Joseph could bring her in the tax cart on Sunday; your mother is most anxious and so is your father. Now I will depend on you and expect her and baby. We are all well and getting on well. Wishing you, dear brother, a safe and speedy passage and many returns of the season. I am as ever, your affectionate sister, R Macky Much love to all |
